The first in a series of GL! C Meetings, organized in collaboration with Grohe Turkey and Arkitera, was held under the theme "Water" on Tuesday, March 29. The event took place subsequently to the “World Water Day” featuring five architects; Cafer Bozkurt, Bünyamin Derman, Gökhan Avcıoğlu, Abdurrahman Çekim and Mehpare Evrenol presenting architectural projects with reference to the theme. Cafer Bozkurt, in his presentation titled "Istanbul Water Structures and Their Contemporary Utilization"; addressed his Yerebatan Cistern, Şerefiye Cistern and Kılıç Ali Pasha Hamam projects regarding their relation with water in a historical perspective extending from the Roman-Byzantine-Ottoman periods to present-day Turkey.
