ANTALYA GOLF CLUB

ANTALYA GOLF CLUB

The Golf Club was established on a 1,248,000 m2 piece of marshland

ending at the sea shore. After rehabilitation, it now consists of ponds, and pine and eucalyptus woods. The Golf Club consists of a Golf Academy, 18 Holes Standard Golf Course, 18 Holes Championships Course and the Facilities. It is the largest Golf Club and the only Championship Course in the region.

The Golf Club building has been placed in a position commanding a view of all the starting and fi nishing strokes. All the utilities and parking have been taken into the basement, thus leaving all sides of the building free for green space.

In the main building, calm, solid blocks and moving transparent

glass surfaces, a circular colonnade expressing the building’s expansion to the surroundings, canopied terraces covered with awnings attached to the building with steel tie rods, the colonnaded middle courtyard, all form a strong contrast of solid and void.

The facilities received the THBB: Turkish Ready-Mixed Concrete Corporation’s Architecture Grand Award in 2004.
